From maths students to maths nerds. Our story begins in the University of Bristol Mathematics and Computer Science department. We wanted to build a platform that could teach and explain mathematics so we could automate our jobs as online tutors.Join Us
Each member of the team has tutored hundreds of students to top grades in their GCSE and A-Level maths courses. After seeing the dramatic grade increases that personalised tuition has with students, they sought a way to make learning tailored to the individual available for everyone, and not just for those who can afford a private tutor.
AITutor pairs the very human element of education with technology to provide the best possible experience for each student. Using smart learning algorithms it tailors questions and lessons to the individual, all while providing real human support and lessons that connect with GCSE and A-Level students.

AITutor’s technical wizard. After getting his masters in maths and computer science from the University of Bristol. Adam went on to building and working in various full-stack development teams Adam has amassed a wealth of experience in all aspects of building software, with an emphasis on AI and security.
An expert maths tutor, Patrick oversees the creation of AITutor questions, as well as delivering the video courses himself. Patrick holds a first class masters degree in mathematics from the University of Bristol and dropped a single mark over the 6 exams of his maths A-Level, so you should be in good hands!
Alex joined the team in 2019 after having got a distinction in his masters in maths and computer science from the University of Leeds. He has since made our extensive base of dynamic A-Level and GCSE maths exam questions the beast that it is today, and is spearheading multiple engineering developments for the platform.
